Schluter-DILEX-AKWS is a surface joint profile with aluminum anchor fins that protect the edges of tiles. These fins are bound by a 1/4" (6 mm) flexible PVC center area that divides the tiled area into individual sections and forms the visible surface.

  • Designed to allow movement and reduce mechanical stress in large tiled areas
  • Eliminates the need for caulking
  • Prevents cracking and delamination of tiles
  • Reduces movement stresses in the tiled area due to temperature, moisture or load related expansion/contraction
  • Ideal for moderate residential and commercial applications, such as areas subject to moderate mechanical loads, including vehicule traffic
