Not only do they space out 1/4" and 1/2" expansion gaps, these spacers also form 1" thresholds. Expansion joints and thresholds leave a perimeter around your plank floors for expanding and contracting without buckling, increasing the longevity of your installation. This all in one spacer won't tip over during installation and makes custom flooring jobs easy.
