ROBERTS 2980 Multipurpose is a contractor-grade adhesive formulated for installation of most types of carpet and felt-backed sheet vinyl. It offers a longer open time for the optimal positioning of felt-backed vinyl flooring, and develops tack for the installation of rigid-backed carpets. Powered by Microban, this antimicrobial product protection helps fight the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria that can cause product degradation. This adhesive covers up to 16.7 sq. meters per 3.78 L (180 sq. ft. per gallon) depending on trowel type, substrate and installation conditions. Made in Canada, it offers a 2-year shelf life from date of production when stored in original unopened container, and a lifetime warranty for installations performed by a Flooring Industry Association Certified Professional.
