The ROBERTS Silicone Moisture Barrier Underlayment was designed to protect floors from moisture, without trapping it underneath the floor covering. Silicone Moisture Barrier is made from repurposed paper that is environmentally safe. Install with the smooth side up, for easily marking chalk lines and sliding planks into position. For use with staple and nail down installations of solid, engineered and laminate wood floors, or floating vinyl plank floors. Made of 100% recycled materials, consisting of 6 mil wet strength paper with a baked silicone coating for moisture impermeability under wood flooring. Reduces vapor flow without trapping moisture. Helps reduce dust levels during installation to contribute to a more environmentally friendly workspace. Lab tested and approved for use with radiant heat systems.
