Use the Blastrac Premium Shrouds as part of the dust containment system on hand grinders, sanders or polishers to help reduce airborne dust and particulates. The Shroud facilitates a cleaner and safer work environment when grinding, planing, or removing coatings from concrete. The shroud’s unique snail shape design uses the velocity of air created by the rotating grinding wheel to force air to travel in a cyclone fashion, thus creating higher centrifugal force which expels the dust particles away from the grinding wheel up into the hose port. This technology improves removal of particles which further improves the grinding process. When coupled with the BDC-1112EU or BDC1216 dust collector, and equipped with the Blastrac premium shroud, the 05-67000 operates with nearly all dust eliminated. The operator can breathe easier while observing the work area more safely, increasing job productivity. The Premium Shrouds are easy to install, no tools required, and are designed to fit 7” and 9”, 15 amp grinders. Inserts are included to fit Blastrac, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Hitachi, and Metabo grinders.
