The butane hot knife melts the thermo-plastic polymer color bars into the areas that are in need of repair. Unlike soft wax repair systems, these durable polymer color bars have a high melting point which allow Wood Doctor and Ceramic/Vinyl Doctor to be used for permanent repairs in high-traffic areas and outdoor applications. A wire holder is also provided for the butane hot knife. Always place the knife on its holder when not in use.
