General purpose concrete flooring nails are used for most flooring installation applications. The 11/16 inch nail is the standard nail used as a pre-nail in carpet strip. Shorter lengths are used to install tap down style metal moldings when the nail heads will be covered by carpet. Longer lengths are used to install strip in special situations and are also used to temporarily hold carpet in position while seaming or stretching. All 12 gauge concrete flooring nails are also available with a rust resistant plated finish. .
