PermaBASE Cement Board is a lightweight substrate made of Portland cement, aggregate and glass mesh that provides a durable surface that is able to withstand prolonged exposure to moisture.

  • EdgeTech Reinforced Edge allows for closer fastener applicationof nails or screws at the edge without crumbling
  • Can be cut using a standard utility knife
  • Is impact resistant, extremely durable and dimensionally stable
  • Easier to cut and faster to install
  • Meets ASTM C1325
  • Is highly moisture resistant, and will not rot, disintegrate or swell when exposed to water
  • Boards 1/2" thick and more can be used in 1-hour or 2-hours ULC fire rated assemblies
