Forbo Cinch Loc Seal
Marmoleum Cinch LOC SEAL puts a 2 mm Marmoleum linoleum top layer on a high-density fibreboard (HDF) core with a cork backing, in panels that click together without glue. Forbo describes it as naturally healthy, waterproof flooring. Choose 12 x 36 in. panels or 12 x 12 in. squares, both 9.8 mm (3/8 in.) thick, with a Topshield double UV-cured finish. See all FAQsWhat sizes does Cinch LOC SEAL come in, and how much does a box cover?
Two formats, both 9.8 mm (3/8 in.) thick and 7 pieces per box: 12 x 36 in. panels (300 x 900 mm), at 20.3 sq ft per box, and 12 x 12 in. squares (300 x 300 mm), at 6.7 sq ft per box. Mixing formats or planning a large area? Contact us.
How are Cinch LOC SEAL panels installed?
The panels click together with the Välinge 5G locking system, so there is no adhesive to spread or let dry. Forbo's installation guide requires a vapour barrier on all concrete subfloors and over underfloor heating, asks you to seal the expansion space in wet areas with 100% mildew-resistant silicone, and says not to install it on floors with water or flooding problems. Prefer a glued linoleum tile? See Marmoleum Modular.
How is a Cinch LOC SEAL panel built?
From the top down: a 2 mm Marmoleum linoleum wear layer with a Topshield double UV-cured finish, a 6.8 mm high-density fibreboard (HDF) core and a 1 mm cork backing. FloorBox's specs list a 17 dB sound reduction. See all Forbo flooring.
